Over the last few months, we have been implementing some mighty updates to a couple of the most significant areas of our service; SEO and Security.
Let us begin with SEO.
We strive to keep our SEO as low cost as possible. We are, by far, the cheapest SEO provider in the UK. With a starting price of only £69 per month, we are 2-3 hundred pounds less expensive than the next SEO provider up. Although we are cheap, that doesn’t stop us offering high-quality features and since our latest update, we offer a premium SEO admin panel to all our SEO customers for free. This is a feature that you would normally only get to enjoy if spending mega bucks on much larger SEO agencies.
With this admin panel, you will have 24/7 access to all of your keyword rankings – no more waiting on monthly reports! You can also integrate your Google analytics profile so that you can study your traffic without needing to leave your SEO panel. It doesn’t end there though; you can also link your social media accounts and get all of the analytics from them as well – including help towards figuring out what time of day is best for you to post and many other helpful insights. Plus, you can schedule Facebook and Twitter posts from our tool so you can take a rest from Social Media but remain active at the same time. These are features that would typically require several different tools, all charging varying amounts per month but we offer them all under one roof, for free.
If you are not an SEO customer, you can access this tool for £10 per month which also unlocks several other DIY SEO tools such as keyword research and on-page SEO scanners so you can check how well your website has been optimised along with instructions on how to improve it yourself.
Now let us talk security
We already had some industry-leading security technologies in place on our server, such as account isolation, so that if someone else’s website got compromised on our server, the problems would be contained to that one account. This feature also helps if another site is a drain on system resources; nobody else’s performance would be affected. We also have a firewall that uses collective intelligence and machine learning to distinguish and block millions of threats seeking to hack websites across the world. On top of that, we have always managed website plugin updates for our customers so that everything remains updated and patched from the latest threats.
However, even with all of that security, there was still a hole, and that is what gets uploaded to the website directly by the customer or us. As an example, although rare, plugins can contain malicious code, and if one were to be installed, it would infect the site without anybody knowing – until your website starts redirecting people to gambling sites or causing popups for your visitors.
This threat is no more! All of our websites are now scanned every day for anything malicious. From the smallest line of code to the biggest video files and if anything nasty is found, we receive email alerts and text message notifications so that we can respond instantly and clear the issue before anything unfortunate happens. This is completely behind the scenes, you don’t need to let it concern you at all.
Among many other smaller benefits, there are also now login attempt restrictions so that if somebody tries to guess your password, they will be locked out after five attempts. Simple but effective.
Luckily, the chances of anything bad happening on any of our websites is rare, but since we have beefed up the security even further, you can rest assured that those chances are reduced to nearly zero.
